Simnioniw Family Chiropractic

With 17 years of chiropractic experience, more than 180 hours of pediatric training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), and five children of her own, Dr. Kylie Simnioniw brings experience and a personal understanding of family life to caring for your child.
At Simnioniw Family Chiropractic, also known as Sim Family Chiro or SFC, we welcome newborns, babies, children, and teens from Dickinson and across southwest North Dakota. Whether you have a specific concern or questions about chiropractic care, we’ll take time to listen and explain your options.
Experience Caring for Babies and Children
Dr. Kylie’s background includes extensive pediatric education through the ICPA, along with training in Dynamic Body Balancing, craniosacral work, and fascial work with Dr. Carol Phillips. She is also trained in the Webster Technique and has previous experience as a doula.
Her experiences with pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and raising five children helped shape her passion for working with growing families. She understands the thought that goes into choosing a provider for your child and wants you to feel comfortable asking questions.

Your Child’s First Visits

Your first appointment is your child’s Discovery Day. We’ll talk about their health history, your concerns, and what you’d like help understanding. For babies, this may include their pregnancy and birth history, along with concerns you’ve discussed with their pediatrician.
Dr. Kylie will complete an age-appropriate examination. When appropriate, Insight scans provide additional information considered alongside the history and examination. These scans do not replace medical testing or diagnose developmental or behavioral conditions.
At your second visit, Dr. Kylie will explain the findings and discuss whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your child. If care is recommended, we’ll walk through the approach, recommended visits, costs, and how progress will be reviewed.
Care That Considers Your Child’s Comfort
Your child’s age, size, health history, and examination findings guide any recommendations. Dr. Kylie will explain what she proposes, why she recommends it, and the potential benefits, risks, and alternatives before care begins.
Parents are part of the conversation throughout the visit. Let us know if your child feels nervous, has questions, or needs a break. We’ll take their comfort and cues into account as we go.
Our office welcomes the everyday realities of family life. You can bring your questions—and your other kids, too.
Common Questions About Pediatric Chiropractic
Can I schedule an appointment for my newborn?
Yes, you can contact us to discuss an evaluation for your baby. Dr. Kylie will review their history and examination findings before making any recommendations. An appointment does not automatically mean your baby needs an adjustment.
Does chiropractic care replace our pediatrician?
No. Continue your child’s routine pediatric visits and recommended medical care. Share any concerns about feeding, sleep, digestion, behavior, or development with their pediatrician. Chiropractic care should not delay medical evaluation or treatment.
How often will my child need to come in?
Recommendations are individual. Dr. Kylie will discuss whether care is appropriate, explain any proposed schedule, and reassess along the way. There is no single visit schedule for every child.
Can our whole family come here?
Yes. We welcome patients of all ages, including expecting and postpartum moms, babies, children, teens, and adults. Each family member receives their own assessment and recommendations.
